Explore the beauty of watercolor while learning essential techniques, color theory, and material handling in a supportive, creative environment. This 8-session watercolor course is designed to help you build a strong foundation while discovering your own artistic style. Throughout the course, you will become familiar with watercolor materials, brushes, and paper types, and learn how to use them effectively. We will explore color mixing and gain a practical understanding of color theory, helping you create harmonious and expressive paintings. You will also be introduced to a variety of watercolor techniques such as washes, layering, wet-on-wet, and controlled detailing. Each session combines guided instruction with personal exploration, allowing you to develop confidence, improve your skills, and enjoy the process of painting. This class is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience who want to refine their technique. Materials: Participants are responsible for bringing their own materials.
